[Review] Logitech G302 Daedalus Prime (English)

Logitech G302
Logitech G302

One of the gaming mouse from Logitech is G302 Daedalus Prime. It's one of an interesting mouse, with a diamond like shape and lightweight. This is the first mouse that uses button tensioning system from Logitech for the main left and right click. This mouse is using the AM010 sensor (200 to 4000 dpi) that is pretty decent for fast paced gaming like FPS or MOBA. It's also have blue LED (the RGB one is G303 Daedalus Apex also with better sensor but is't available in Indonesia) that can be set to static, breathing, or off from the Logitech Gaming Software

Diamond Shape G302

This mouse priced about Rp. 500.000,- in Indonesia, and I think it fits into the midrange price category. From the Logitech website it is said that this mouse is for the MOBA games, but I mainly played FPS games like CS:GO and can say that this mouse have some pretty decent performance and no problem that I can find. What I really liked from this mouse is the button tensioning system, it makes the click feels more crisp, but then again this system is already applied to almost newest Logitech gaming mouse lineup. The downside from this mouse is the shape, the diamond like shape can be irritating for a lot of people, but then again if you like this shape it's not a bad deal to purchase this mouse. I recommend you guys to try the shape of this mouse in the nearest store that have the demo unit, because you really need to feel this mouse shape in your hand.

To make it short I will make few pros and cons points.
PRO :
- AM010 sensor (decent)
- Omron left and right click and with advanced button tensioning system
- with blue LED lighting
- 3 extra programmable buttons

CONS :
- stiff rubber cable
- still not RGB
- no weight adjusment

RELATIVELY (depend on the user) :
- the shape and size
- the weight (about 87grams)

I think with this price and feature, I probably would recommend the G102 Prodigy instead, with the latest sensor, already have the RGB lighting, with cheaper price and safer shape. But if you like the G302 shape, I can't prevent you to buy it. It really is a really hate or love shape, some pro CS:GO player use the G303 versions. Hope this review helps, see you guys in the next item reviews.

[Review] Logitech G610 Orion Brown (English)

logitech g610
(Logitech G610)
Now we're gonna discuss about a keyboard from Logitech that is the G610 Orion Brown. It is a mechanical keyboard with Brown Cherry MX switches, a switch between the Red and Blue which is with a little bump on the actuation point but not clicky. If you never try a mechanical keyboard, you would be better to try it out first in the nearest store that have a sample to test to know what is the difference between mechanical switces type. In indonesia currently the price is about Rp. 1.400.000, not so cheap for a keyboard. But it comes with the quality that it made from, Cherry MX switches (relatively known to be more expensive because it is made in Germany, rather than the other counterparts that made in China like Kailh, etc), the ABS keycaps is well made, pretty strong construction, and with a white LED that you can choose the lighting mode with the Logitech Gaming Software. It have a little bit bonus feature like media keys with volume scroll, and gaming mode key that turn off the Windows key if you often to accidentally press it while gaming. But this keyboard doesn't have USB passthrough to connect your flash drive or other things via this keyboard, and there is not a single macro button for some MMORPG player to program, and the LED is only white (not RGB).

cherry mx brown
(G610 Brown Cherry MX)
This keyboard is just a simple keyboard with no weird gaming shape, it's just an ordinary, simple mechanical keyboard with white LED. Some people might like the simplicity but maybe the others won't, it all comes back to you wether you like it or not. To sum it up I will make it to a few pro and cons point.
PRO :
- Cherry MX switches
- media keys with volume knob
- braided cable
- with LED (white)
- good build quality

CONS :
- no macro keys
- no USB passthrough
- still not RGB (only white LED)

RELATIVELY (depend on the user) :
- the model is simple
- brown (light with tactile bump on the actuation point) switches

Is it worth it or not? It is worth the price, but is it recommended? There's so much mechanical keyboard at this price point so it all comes back to you if you wether like the model and shape of it or not, there's Corsair Strafe or Cougar Attack with more gaming looks and red LED. But if you like it simple like this and have another Logitech peripherals and like to stick with only one gaming software which is Logitech Gaming Software then it is worth the price I think. Hope this review help you guys, and I'm still learning my English to be better. Thanks.

[Review] Logitech G102 Prodigy (English)

Logitech G102
Logitech G102

G102, a mouse (or mice?) that Logitech has been released for a decent price about Rp. 300.000 in Indonesia. This gaming mouse is really similiar to the cheap Logitech B100 that cost around Rp. 50.000. Then what is the difference? Of course the parts that being used is different. Gaming grade sensor (Mercury sensor, ranging from 200 to 6000 dpi) that is pretty accurate for playing fast paced game like FPS or MOBA (i've played CS:GO and get a pretty solid performance with this mouse sensor), Omron switches for the left and right click with addition of advanced button tensioning (the feature that I've liked from Logitech since using the G302 and now the G102) that makes the click to feel more crisp. But then again there's Logitech G100s at the same price range right? Yep, but this G102 I've heard will replace the G100s from the Logitech Gaming lineup but I don't know for sure about it. The difference from G100s is the sensor (G100s uses AM010 sensor), no advanced button tensioning, and no RGB lighting (now is the time of the RGB lighting to shine on your setup).

(B100 vs G102)

Okay, other than sensor and RGB lighting, there is also another feature in this mouse compared to the cheapo B100, that is on-board memory to save your settings on the mouse (so if you plugged it in other PC, it still have your last settings), and additional 3 extra buttons that you can program to your heart content with the Logitech Gaming Software (default is dpi step, forward and back, and also you can program the left, right and middle click, but I wouldn't recommend that).

There are few things that can be a pro or cons from this mouse and every other mouse, that is shape, size and weight. The shape is symmetrical like a standard B100 (small, almost oval) but the extra buttons is only on the left, making it not recommended for the left handed. And it only weights about 85grams. It all comes back to you, wether you like it or not the kind of shape, size and weight of this mouse.

If my post is to long then I will shorten it in few points of pros and cons.
PRO :
- sensor : Mercury (good)
- left and right click with Omron switches plus the advanced button tensioning system
- RGB lighting (light up your gear)
- on-board memory to save your mouse settings
- 3 extra programmable buttons
- decent price for the feature and quality that been given from this mouse

CONS :
- cable not braided yet
- no weight adjusment system
- material all plastic with no extra layer for comfort or anti slippery for wet hands

RELATIVELY (depend on the user) :
- the shape and size
- the weight (about 85grams)

It is not a prefect mouse, but I dare to say it is a recommended one. There is a better sensor, and feature from other mice but of course it is more expensive. And with this G102 price, you'll get a solid mouse with solid performance and with RGB lighting if it's available in your country.  Sorry if my English was bad, but I'm still practicing it to be better. Thank you guys, see you in the next review.
